A picture is worth a thousand words

At least that's what I'm telling myself as I put more pictures on here and less words lately. I figure that's what you want to see anyway :).

Just minutes before our sweet baby boy arrived, and the last belly shot :). Elijah's first car trip, he's so tiny....and then there's the picture of the most adorable baby boy in the world.

Here's some more pictures for those who are wanting them. A picture of Jenna with Elijah, a couple of him looking cute before I swaddled him, and one of me being paternal.

Make that TWO weeks!

With baby Elijah being all sideways, then rightside up, then upside down, etc, we and our doctor decided to go ahead with a C-section this morning. Not our first choice, but had Jenna gone into labor with the baby in his sideways position, it would have been an emergency, 90mph drive to the closest hospital.

Anyway, Jenna is doing OK (very tired). The baby is feeding well, and is very calm, especially when we're holding him.

Only four more weeks to go!!!

This week Elijah is comparable to the size of a crenshaw melon. In other words, he's HUGE! Coincidentally it really does feel like there is a melon in my belly.

My doctor's appointments are going well, and I am a little uncomfortable, but for the most part feel pretty good. Hank and I are just getting really excited to meet our son!
